Professional experience
September 2023 - Ongoing
Engaging in aerospace engineering at its zenith, I specialize in the verification and validation of On-board computers and AOCS (Attitude and Orbit Control System) sensors for the esteemed Sicral-3 satellite constellation, adhering rigorously to ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) and CCDSS (Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems) standards.
My portfolio includes the creation of intricate sub-system models utilizing UML (Unified Modeling Language) with MagicDraw, coupled with the development of code for the INNOSAT On-board computer, demonstrating my proficiency in both theoretical and practical facets of space systems engineering.
Beyond modeling and coding, I am entrusted with the critical task of implementing and executing Subsystems, Spacecraft environment, and Perturbation models on the SIMSAT-SIMULUS platform, where precision and accuracy are paramount. Furthermore, my expertise extends to the meticulous verification process conducted on the Automated testbed (ATB), situated within the pristine confines of a clean room facility.
This is the place where rigorous standards meet innovative engineering, ensuring the seamless functionality and reliability of spaceborne technology.

During my tenure of two years at one of the leading consulting organization, I spearheaded the development and management of system requirements using Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) practices. This encompassed two critical projects: the On-Board Charger tailored for electric vehicles and the Infotainment - Human Machine Interface (HMI) system designed for Light Vehicles.
I meticulously defined and analyzed the architecture and algorithms underpinning Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and the Adaptive Cruise Control system. My responsibilities extended to crafting streamlined verification and validation test criteria while concurrently conducting a comprehensive risk analysis of system requirements. In a mere 2.5 months, I undertook the daunting task of processing System Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (S-FMEA) for a staggering 1000+ requirements. This rigorous assessment ensured the identification and resolution of any non-conformances, bolstering the overall reliability of our systems. In the meanwhile, I carried interview training on SysML.
Furthermore, I contributed significantly to efficiency by automating the labor-intensive process of attribute creation and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) calculation within IBM DOORS. Leveraging my expertise in DXL scripting, I developed a robust script that resulted in a remarkable 30% reduction in man-hours.
Beyond the technical accomplishments, I cherish the camaraderie and lasting friendships forged with my colleagues during casual coffee breaks in the corridors. These moments of connection added a valuable dimension to my professional journey.

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) is a premier aerospace and defense company in India, while GSLV MK III (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III) is a powerful launch vehicle developed by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) for launching satellites into geostationary orbit.
I designed critical subsystem for India's GSLV MK III in AutoCAD, guaranteeing smooth integration from Phase 0 to launch. My responsibilities extended to ensuring the reliability of the Thermal Protection system, active participation in Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards at the production site. Additionally, I played a crucial role in the verification and validation of outsourced products to seamlessly integrate them into the launch vehicle's subsystems.
My impactful one-year tenure at HAL not only marked significant professional growth but also forged enduring mentorship relationships. My guides at HAL have become mentors for life, making this chapter of my career truly enriching and memorable.
